At the Balmain Hair event, we admired the impressive styles on display. From sleek wet hairstyles to soft, voluminous waves, the beauty of the attendees highlights the versatility that defines Paris Fashion Week. Discover how to recreate the stylish looks of Kate Walsh, Caylee Cowan, and Steph Hui at home with our easy-to-follow styling tips and Balmain Hair products.
Power Look
Created by our hairstylist James Taylor, Kate Walsh dazzled with a beautiful voluminous look. Using only Balmain Hair products, this look is easy to recreate for a night out.
Step 1: Start by washing the hair with the Revitalizing Shampoo and Revitalizing Conditioner to cleanse and prep it for styling. Once the hair is towel-dried, apply the Thermal Protection Spray to safeguard it from heat damage. Followed by the Texturizing Salt Spray to add texture and body. Now that the hair is prepped, blow-dry the hair backwards using the Professional Ceramic Round Brush 53mm to create volume and lift at the roots.
Step 2: Divide the hair into three sections. Clip the top section away and comb the sides back for a sleek finish, applying Shine Wax and Session Spray Medium for hold and shine. Set the sides back using the cool air setting on the (Professional) Blowdryer to lock the shape.
Step 3: For the top section, use the Ceramic Curling Wand 25mm to create the desired curls. Wrap the hair around the wand and wait for each section to cool.
Tip: to save time and maintain the shape longer, use rollers instead of waiting for each section to cool on the wand. This will help the curls set faster while still holding their shape.
Step 4: Once the hair has cooled down, apply the Styling Powder to the roots for added volume. For the ends, take a little bit of Shine Wax between your fingers and shape the ends into your desired style. To ensure your curls stay in place, give your hair a generous spritz of Session Spray Strong.
Step 5: For the final touch add a spritz of Silk Perfume for a glossy finish, and use Hair Perfume Vetiver 1974 for a refreshing scent that lasts all night long.
Hollywood Waves
Caylee Cowan turned heads with her beautifully styled Hollywood waves, a look that perfectly embodies elegance. Styled by the talented Przemek Mendakiewicz, this hairstyle is not only stunning but also surprisingly simple to recreate at home. Here’s how to achieve those luscious waves in just a few steps.
Step 1: Start with freshly washed hair. While the hair is still damp, apply the Leave-in Conditioner and Thermal Protection Spray to protect it from heat. Next, apply Volume Mousse at the roots for more body and blow-dry your hair using the Ceramic Curling Wand 25mm to create volume and soft waves.
Step 2: Divide the hair into two sections and spray each section with the Texturizing Salt Spray to help set the curls. Wrap the hair around the Ceramic Curling Wand, then allow the curl to fall into your hand and let it cool down.

Step 3: Apply the Texturizing Volume Spray to the ends of the hair to create glamorous waves. Once you’ve achieved the desired shape, set the style with the Session Spray Medium and finish off with the Session Spray Strong for extra hold.
Step 4: Lastly spray the Silk Perfume onto the lengths of the hair for a beautiful and shiny finish and use the Hair Perfume Cardamom 1974 to complete the look with a sensual scent.
Sleek Wet Look
Steph Hui showcased an elegant wet look that was both modern and chic. Mesut Avşar, transformed her layered bob effortlessly into a sleek evening style. Here’s how he created this look:
Step 1: You don’t need freshly washed hair for this look—just refresh it with Dry Shampoo to add volume. Follow up with the Thermal Protection Spray to shield it from heat.
Step 2: Use the Professional Blowdryer to shape the hair by directing it inward. This technique enhances the overall look, giving the hair a fuller and more polished appearance. Next, apply a rich amount of Argan Moisturizing Elixir to the lengths of the hair for a glossy finish.
Step 3: For added volume, apply the Volume Mousse Strong directly onto the roots to lift and give the hair a fuller appearance. Comb the hair into the desired style and use the Session Spray Medium to hold everything in place.
Step 5: For the final touches, spritz the Silk Perfume onto the hair give it a radiant shine, and use the Hair Perfume Ginger 1974 for a unique scent throughout the night.
